Boldyn Networks (Boldyn), a neutral host telecommunications infrastructure provider in the United States and globally, has partnered with AT&T and the U.S. Navy to expand 5G infrastructure at Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg (NSA Mechanicsburg,) headquarters of the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP).

New 5G tower will provide greater mobile coverage at the home of Naval Supply Systems Command Headquarters.

Boldyn is breaking ground on a 150-foot monopole, 5G tower to enable AT&T’s network across the 806-acre property. This will improve signal quality and help NSA Mechanicsburg with their operational logistics and office connectivity.

Many of the warehouses on the facility rely on mobile devices for registering and tracking inventory. With more than 8 million square feet of warehouse space, the tower will support a reliable mobile network that is essential to powering those devices.

“Boldyn’s infrastructure is the trusted solution to help improve the wireless coverage across the installation,” said Ret. Col. Lou Zeisman, Head of Military Relations at Boldyn Networks, US. “From the warehouses to office buildings, thousands of people on base depend on connectivity to perform their job and deliver on the mission.”

NSA Mechanicsburg is the headquarters for the Naval Supply Systems Command, which provides supplies to the Navy fleet and Marine Corps. It provides an operationally ready, secure shore infrastructure that is committed to offering support services and a balanced quality of life to military and civilian members.
