Xiaomi has announced it’s partnership with Vodafone Spain to bring amazing products at honest pricing to a wider customer group in Spain, starting with the gorgeous work of art Mi MIX2, through the operator’s online and offline stores!

With this launch, Vodafone becomes the first operator in the Spanish market to market a product from Xiaomi.

The Mi MIX offered an idea of what the future of the phone would look like, defying expectations about the design of smartphones and pioneering the trend of full-screen smartphones. Now, the Mi MIX 2 increases the level: with 5.99 inches and 18: 9 screen, this smartphone offers a dazzling appearance with a full screen that occupies virtually the entire front surface.

It also allows surfing the Internet with speeds up to 600Mbps in download and 100Mbps in data upload to the network.

Powerful and elegant

Designed in conjunction with the world-famous creative Philippe Starck, the Mi MIX 2 is the result of Xiaomi’s commitment to the use of ceramics. As a result, this smartphone incorporates an elegant ceramic back that features a curved design that fuses imperceptibly with the front aluminum frame.

To offer the best experience and high performance to users, the Mi MIX 2 features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and comes with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of memory. It also uses the latest Sony IMX386 sensor in its 12 megapixel camera, and incorporates a 4-axis OIS that reduces the effect of handshake or movement, so that images and videos are kept sharp.

Availability and pricing plans

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is available from this week in the operator’s stores and in the Vodafone Online Store, and will benefit from the following Vodafone benefits:

•No commitment to stay in tariff
•The best free price in the market (€ 399) for the 6GB + 64GB version
•Installment payment without interest
•Mobile insurance “Total Protection” 3 months of gift
•After-sales service: repair in 5 days with original parts and replacement phone

Speaking on this development, Wang Xiang, Senior Vice President of Xiaomi, said, “this new partnership with Vodafone allows us to reach an even broader group of consumers that we believe will truly benefit from our incredible products at honest prices. Vodafone is a leading player and I am very pleased to be able to grow our business in Spain even more thanks to this agreement with them. The Mi MIX 2 shows Xiaomi’s capabilities to overcome frontiers and lead innovation, while making the most cutting-edge technologies available to all. ”

Nuno Taveira, director of the Terminals Business Unit of Vodafone Spain, commented: “we want our customers to have the best smartphones available in the market to enjoy with the best 4G + network and that is why this exclusive distribution agreement of the Xiaomi My Mix 2 is essential. In addition, our clients have added advantages such as the elimination of the commitment of permanence, payment in installments without interest, free mobile insurance for 3 months and after-sales repair service in less than 5 days in our stores “.

Xiaomi’s first sales agreement with a Spanish operator comes six months after its official entry into Spain, its first Western European market, where it has already become the number 3 smartphone vendor with a 14.1 percent share in the first quarter of 2018.
