Telkom is offering free data to its prepaid subscribers who sign up for the KSh999 bundle that grants them 7GB Data and 300 minutes to any network.

Subscribers will also enjoy up to 10GB free Data, every night, until mid-January, 2019, as long as the customer has a valid bundle.

Announcing the launch of the new offer, Telkom’s MD for the Mobile Division, Amer Atwi says: “Through the free data, we enable our customers to experience our Data. This also underlines our commitment to continually enhance the value that we deliver to our customers.”

Subscribers can sign up for the bundle by dialing *544#. Any unutilized free data will be forfeited at 6am. When subscribers sign up for another bundle before the existing one expires, the data and minutes will accumulate but the free data allocation will not.

In November, Telkom introduced the All-Network-Bundles, on which customers make calls for as low as KSh1.50 cents, per minute. This comes as the firm intensifies its network expansion and densification across the country to ensure availability to subscribers and enhance indoor coverage. This involves expanding the 4G network and optimizing the 3G and 2G network.

Telkom connects the people that keep Kenya on the move. It does this by providing integrated telecommunications solutions to individuals, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), Government and large corporates in Kenya, drawing from a diverse solutions suite that includes voice, data, mobile money as well as network services. Powered by its vast fibre optic infrastructure, it is also a major provider of wholesale, carrier-to-carrier traffic within the country and the region. Telkom is building on a strong, consumer-centric ethos that is committed to providing innovative, accessible and refreshingly simple communications solutions that suit customers’ everyday communication needs.
